Your 2021 Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas, Katie Welsh, is the 18 year old daughter of Matthew and Beth Welsh of Meade, Kansas. She is a senior at Meade High School, and is involved in Cross country, track, National Honor Society and honor roll. After High School, Katie would like to pursue a career as a veterinarian. She enjoys riding her horses and hanging out with family and friends when she has free time. Katie is a member of 4-H, Young Guns, and Harper County Roundup Club. Katie will travel this year representing the state of Kansas along with promoting the sport of rodeo. She lives by the saying "Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway".
