Jessica Klumpe
Miss Rodeo Kansas 2023
Jessica Klumpe is a twenty-three-year-old from Olpe, Kansas. She is the daughter of Mike and Cindy Klumpe. She grew up on a farm outside Olpe with her two older brothers, Josh, and Jason. Her family operates a diversified farming and livestock operation producing, corn, wheat, and soybeans. The cow/calf operation includes approximately one hundred head of Angus and Angus Cross cattle.
Jessica recently graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Prior to Kansas State University, Jessica received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Agriculture from Pratt Community College.
While growing up, Jessica was actively involved in 4-H, FFA and rodeos. Showing cattle and goats and participating in rodeos in 4-H were some of her favorite activities. From a young age, Jessica always loved horses and the sport of rodeo. At an early age, Jessica competed in youth and 4-H rodeos, then later advanced to high school and college rodeos. She has also been involved in several professional associations related to horses, barrel racing or rodeo.
After being crowned Miss Rodeo K-State 2021, Jessica traveled numerous miles across Kansas promoting the sport of rodeo, her college, and the western lifestyle. This wonderful opportunity to share her passion for rodeo has encouraged her to compete for Miss Rodeo Kansas.
